A National Holiday? Webkinz Day, By George Bush!?

ASSOCIATED PRESS --

On July 8, 2007, Bush today announced that, as of next year, Webkinz Day will be formally recognized as a ummmmm ..... national holiday!??!

"Aren't Webkinz just the awesomest?" Bush said to many people. He said, "Webkinz teach children, and keep telling adults, about many of the great American things, such as hard work, and the casino gambling. It is then, only right that we set aside a day in their honor."

When told that Webkinz are actually made by a Canadian company, Bush said, "Right, a 'can-do' attitude; that's another one of those great American prides!

"Democrats were quick to criticize the President's holiday-making ideas. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, "This is just another friendly talk by President Bush to make attention away from his bad leading of the Iraq war."

Senator Hillary Clinton said, "By making Webkinz Day a holiday, the President is sending a message to America's poor. That message is, 'If you can't buy and have high-speed Internet, you can't come to the cool party!'

Bush said, "I can not right now; I have got to give Bruno, my Webkinz, a quick bath. Bruno's a polar bear. Isn't he very cute? He is my fifth Webkinz. I just got Bruno him today!"Washington insiders report that, in real life, the President has, "like a... A couple of million" Webkinz! They say that it is "a pretty great bet" that "Mr. Plush Junk" has been taking away federal funds away from hospitals plus orphanages in order to pay for all of them.
